The Red Sea region is the most popular tourist destination in Egypt, resorts here are year-round. Most of the resorts are located around Hurghada City, they are: El Gouna, Sahl Hasheesh, Safaga, Soma Bay, Makadi Bay. There are two resort regions far to the south: El Qoseir in 93 miles (150 kilometers) and Marsa Alam in 175 miles (285 kilometers). All the resorts are shown on our map.

Marsa Alam has its own international airport (code: RMF). It is used only for charter flights, and only from a few countries. The main air gates to the region is the Hurghada International Airport (code: HRG) - the second busiest airport in Egypt.

Also we have shown the direction and distance to Cairo (capital of Egypt). Famous Luxor - the ancient capital and the important excursion destination are shown. The distance between Luxor and Hurghada is 190 miles (310 kilometers). Also on the map you can find famous Sharm El Sheikh and understand the relative locations of these two resorts.
